Mark Hayes: International Carol Suites (NEW YORK PREMIERE)

This work features 5 suites or movements. Each suite contains Christmas carols from a different part of the world, including Eastern Europe, Western Europe, the British Isles, South and Central America and North America. It was recently premiered by the commissioning choir in South Carolina: First Presbyterian Church of Hilton Head Island.

Local Choir Eagle Song Soaring at Carnegie Hall

"Nampa-based community choir Eagle Song will soon be soaring at Carnegie Hall in New York City on Sunday, November 19, 2017, thanks to an invitation from conductor and composer Mark Hayes, who asked them to perform the premiere of his complex “International Carol Suite,” a collection of traditional Christmas carols in more than 20 languages. The group is joining with other choristers, forming the Distinguished Concerts International New York City (DCINY) to perform on Sunday, November 19, 2017."
